In 2016, paramedics responded to 19,275 overdose calls. This number doesn’t include calls that came in from other emergencies. The public is currently being put at risk because there are not enough ambulances to properly service residents of British Columbia. Paramedics need more support to ensure that your loved ones have access to the most highly trained front line medical professionals in any medical emergency.

The Ambulance Paramedics of British Columbia have developed a series of advertisements that shine a light on the impact to communities when paramedic’s can get to patients within 8 minutes, 59 seconds. These frontline medial professionals use their expert training and equipment to deliver the best care, no matter where they respond. In a world where there are enough paramedics, lives are saved.

These ads may be challenging or emotional to watch. However, these are the scenarios paramedics and dispatchers face day in and day out.
